How long have you been in business?
12 years, since 1997.
What is your primary product or service?
Children's birthday parties are my specialty! I also entertain at school & daycare events, restaurants, retail & grocery stores, corporate picnics, holiday parties and anywhere children are celebrating!
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I was in charge of a company picnic when I worked as a manager at a call center in 1996 and decided that clowns I had hired must have the greatest job ever. After the event, I chatted with them and they encouraged me to enroll in an upcoming "clown school." Three months later, I quit my corporate job and hit the ground running. My business exploded, literally. I did nearly 200 events that very first year. Repeat and referral business is the backbone of my business!
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I really care. I care about the birthday moms---planning a party is a lot of work. And I am a mom, too, and know it's just not a day for the child to celebrate, but for her (and the dad) too. Because it was this date they became parents to this wonderful little person. I also know this is the only chance I'll have to make this particular birthday special. If I do a great job, everyone will remember. On the flipside, I don't want it to be remembered any other way! I want everyone to have a great time. And I care about my reputation. When I do a good job, I get repeat and referral business.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I travel to my customers. I clown in Dallas, Fort Worth and all areas in between. I have even been invited to do out-of-state shows. I've been to several places, including Seattle, Washington 3 times!
What type of payments do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express and Cash.
Which areas do you service?
I will travel to most cities within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. I also have other clowns & costumed character entertainers that I work with, so if I'm booked, or if a customer needs something I can't do, or is in an area I am not able to service myself, I can still help!!
What are your hours of operation?
7 days per week.
