Small format drawing set management racks and drafting supplies
I would like to introduce a drawing set management rack as an offering to your business needs. As our economy goes Green we are seeing a large need for managing and storing smaller 18x24 drawing sets in design, engineering, and construction environments as they move away form the larger 30x42 drawing sets.
As CEO of the company, I graduated from Texas Tech University in 1997 with a degree in architecture and have worked in the design and construction industry for over 14 years and have been employed by both small and large firms (1600+ employees). I've worked on everything from custom home design, to billion dollar airport projects. Regardless of project size and type, there was always a need to store and access project drawings quickly and efficiently which was very difficult using flat files and 30”x42” mobile plan centers which were bulky and cumbersome. Now, with everyone going green and the desire to minimize the impact to the environment, those once bulky 30”x42” drawings have been resized to 18”x24”. Through my experiences, all of my halfsize sets were stacked 10 high on or under his desk or wherever I could find room. Out of frustration of having to dig through my drawings, just to find the one I needed at the bottom, I created the perfect solution. It saves space, time and helps me stay very organized so that I can be quick and efficient every minute of the work day. Where I once had to rummage through drawings scattered around my desk, now all I have to do is roll the halfsize rack from underneath my desk and slide the convenient filing bars and retrieve effortlessly the set in need.
