Ridings Design started in 1991, by Scott Ridings, is a small graphic design studio originally created to cater to fill a need to small businesses that were looking for a new logo or improve their brand identity and marketing efforts. Small Business Identity Development, Logos and Branding.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I have always excelled at drawing and ideation. I was headed for a Business Management Degree when I just fell into graphic design after I worked on the High School Year Book.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I tend to be more old school in my approach. I interview the client and try to get the creative brief nailed down. I do a lot of research and do a lot of sketches before moving to the computer. A lot of younger designers work themselves into a corner by using the computer first.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Just one.

Right off of Midway and 635 although I work by appointment only.
What type of payments do you accept?
Cash, Check, Paypal and Some Credit Cards.
Which areas do you service?
All but I specialize in small businesses. I have a diverse client base.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
I do.
What are your hours of operation?
9 to 5 unless otherwise negotiated.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
I make them happy with the work I give them.
