How long have you been in business?
We have been open at our current location for over 6 years.
What is your primary product or service?
Our primary service is wine. Collecting, Drinking & Educating on the vast subject of wine. As the owner, I am in the store during 80% of our Operational hours. I have personally sampled every wine (okay maybe one or two bottles made it in prior to sampling) from our over 1,000 labels.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I became initially interested in wine as a buyer for my family's steakhouse in Addison. At 18, I was a part time buyer and was really introduced to some great and not so great vino. 14 years later, I love wine for the fact that no matter how much you know there is always something new to discover.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
What truly makes us unique is our wine bar that I hand built. Designed with an 18th century cellar feel, we tend to have many people stop by during the day just to show it to friends.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
While we love what we do, the concept of true retail in a store and in a bar is not that efficient. This will always be our flagship location, with future Bodega Bars and Wine Markets possibly in the future. We just launched our Wine, Food & Cocktails concept called Ari's Wine Bistro.

We are located off 75 (Central Expressway) near the Know/Henderson exit (one exit South of Mockingbird.) Head West on Knox up three lights to Travis Street. Take a left and just Past Weir's Furniture is Chateau Wine Market & Bodega Bar. There is a Valet stand right in front of our door.
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover, Amex & Cash. Sorry no checks.
Which areas do you service?
Highland Park, University Park, Preston Hollow, Uptown & Downtown.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
My name is Amier Taherzadeh, I am the owner of Chateau Wine Market & Ari's Wine Bistro. I also run the day to day operations, while my wife handles our books.
What are your hours of operation?
Sunday - 12:00 - 6:00PM Monday - Saturday - 11:00AM - Midnight Extended Hours in Bodega Friday & Saturday - Open until 2AM
