TissueGen is a medical device company whose patented technology is a platform, polymer-based drug delivery system. Because our unique manufacturing process occurs at room temperature, we can incorporate a broad range of biologically active therapeutic agents in our devices. We are focusing our initial products development efforts on vascular stents. Using biodegradable polymers with second-generation drugs such as growth factors, we are designing and building vascular stents that offer breakthrough treatment capability. While initially targeting vascular stents, our technology is applicable to many additional markets and applications ranging from cancer treatment to cosmetic surgery, providing a pipeline of additional products or licensing opportunities for continued growth.
